Applicator Selection

1. For external application,

A Bluebe FK type applicator equipped with highly accurate variable pumps is used. It transfers to the nozzles, air and lubricant, which can be adjusted separately; at this point you will recognize a difference from an oiler-type applicator. Lubricant consumption is as little as 4-8ml per hour / per nozzle; you can hardly see the lubricant spouting from the nozzles. It must be pointed out that external application has its issues; nozzles sometimes obstruct the automatic tool change in a machining center, and following the cutting point is sometimes difficult. For boring with drills or reamers it is difficult to supply oil up to the point hence tools with oil holes are favored.

2. For internal application,

The EcoBooster (Patented in Japan, USA and Taiwan) is an applicator developed specifically for the internal application of Bluebe. The EcoBooster can be used with through the spindle or through the arbor system on a machining center or an equipment having center through function like an NC lathe or a simple-operation machine. The most important factor to consider when supplying mist through the spindle is that there is no oil adhesion inside the mist conducting pipeline. The Bluebe EcoBooster generates infinitesimal corpuscles of mist, which hardly adhere to the internal surface of piping. More importantly, mist can be supplied through a high speed spindle. A very short response time is another important factor, the lubricant is able to reach the cutting point in less than 1 second after the applicator has been turned on.
